I've just noticed very shallow dents on the roll bar right behind the Targa top latches. The driver's side is more pronounced than the passenger side, which seems to point to badly adjusted latches. Anybody else have this?

Maybe someone forgot to latch the front and the top blew off at some point in the past?

That would probably put a dent in the bar around the rear latches.

It's not rare, especially in a 40+ year old car.

All it takes is someone trying to stand or kneel on it.

I TOTALLY have that problem all the time. Granted my "girls" might be a little over the standard sheet metal rating of a 914 rollbar.
