Tried searching and didn't find anything. Lots of results for GB, but none were engines... biggrin.gif

Just acquired a GB 2.0 and am curious if maybe the cam is the same as the GA engines as far as not being "0" to the crank. I imagine that due to having D-Jet, the lift specs are close for the MPS to not freak out at idle. Just not sure about if it has the same emissions retard built into the cam timing.

Also, were there any other differences besides flat tops for the Euro 2.0 engines?

The answer is in the box, (appropriately named) 914 info, at the top right hand corner of this, and every, page. Therein, is a tab that says "engine numbers". That leads to a page with all the 914 engines, their sizes, bore and stroke, hp, etc. Now, wasn't that an easy search? lol3.gif

No camshaft info there though...

AFAIK, there were no specific differences between GA and GB cams. The only differences were the pistons.

BTW, the original high-compression pistons had a dish. It was a different shape than the US-spec low-compression piston dish, but it was still dished. The factory workshop manual has cross-section images of the two.

The later flat-top versions likely are a little tiny bit shorter overall to make up for not having a dish in the middle.

Thank you! Will check out those manuals when I get home from work.
