Topic description pretty self-explanatory. Rebuilding a previously untouched MPS and new full load stop screw didn't fit right and boogered up my threads. All old epoxy was fully removed and original screw threaded in and out easily before I tried the new screw. Just need to know what size tap I need to source to clean up threads.
Thanks,
Aaron

I use a smaller diameter tap with the same pitch to carefully scrape the threads clean until the new screw fits. The correct tap is too expensive.

I'd still like to know screw diameter, pitch.
Thanks,
Aaron
