Once again, time to find the car via the engine number.

So why was the engine pulled from the car?? If it was the original/matching VIN, the whole package would be worth more.

Compared the numbers to mine (March '70). Engine is 627 numbers higher, trans is 1104 numbers higher.

Well, I checked my database looking thru almost 1700 VIn numbers, looking for engine number 6405140 or transmission number 7501837 and came up blank on both counts.

Seems a little pricey for rebuildable cores with no additional information on internal condition, especially with a missing oil cooler.

I wonder how anybody could sell it as "numbers matching" without having the CoA of the car, showing the matching numbers ...
I have 914.043.01834 which is very close. This is way to much for a mag case 2.0L that needs a rebuild.

every thing they have is gold plated, that combo isn't worth close to asking price ,missing the cooler further drops it back ,wonder what they offered for a trade in price for a possible larger engine conversion in an original car....most likely peanuts.
