Pretty excited to get them today. I wish I could could have the money, time and skills to save all the cars I have, but just not practical. I would like to say, I really enjoy this web page. It is very nice to see what all of you are up to, builds, projects, etc. it is just nice to see people that love the 914 as much as I do!

Not sure of a fantastic deal, but I did buy all three from the same place...

Even decent parts cars are getting hard to find here in CA. Used to be I could find them for $500. Now I see them to $2000-$3000 for rollers that don't have much hope. I your part of the country that is a good find.

Ok being that I am in wisconsin and always looking at craigslist etc where did you find them?

A friend had told me he had seen them sititing around, went to look at them, negotiated a price and saved them from rusting into the ground......or from being scrap. they were in Illinois.

What shipper did you go with? Personal?

When I had my shop it was not unusual for me to have 4 or 5 cars. I just had to keep them out of my wife's sight.

looks like the one at the tail is 73 with mahle wheels.

I may be a hoarder............right now own a 71, 73, (4) 74's. ( 2 of which are 2.0 cars.) I have had my share. In the past, a 74 911 targa, 2- 74' 914's, and a 67- 912.

For this one I used Montway. I was happy with them. They also were used to ship my 912 to Florida. I would recommend them.
