But he'll trade you for a 64 1/2 Type 901.
Sounds like he's looking for a payday.

Cool car. But he's dreaming on the trade.

It's real, saw it in the build process at Kelly-Moss. Just an excellent example as you would expect from them. Best, Mark

This car was on eBay several years ago for ALOT of money.
It looks like whoever bought it fixed the hideous custom tail lights. If you look at the stills from the movie you can see how the tail lights were angled forward at the top because the builder fabricated the 60's tail light into the larger angled 72-74 opening. It appears they might be correct now (but still difficult to tell from the angle of the pic).
Well, correct for a 60's ghia anyway. This car is a 72-74 that's been modified to look like a 60's Ghia on the outside. Still missing the front turn signals though. But who cares, it's got a 6, right?!

Ok, so it has a big /6 in it, I really don't see anything that special about the car.

, several sixes have been swapped into Ghia's. Now if it was a good Subaru swap with a WRX driveline including the AWD, I would be all over it.
Still miss my Ghia

Tad tail heavy.
Cool and it would fit, but a big T4 would be better suited for handling, etc.
The Ghia is a bug chassis, just different shaped floor half's.

It's real.
Brings to mind what Tony Miller at Translog GT in York Pa. did. He built a couple years ago. A Carmen Gaia Body on a Boxster S. Took it to SEMA and we've seen it at the Hersey Swap Meet a few times under his tent. He had to cut the body down the middle to increase the width to fit over the Boxster frame. Lots of work fitting it all together.
