What kind of hose is used to link the heater diverter valve to the chassis at the longs? I would suppose it would get pretty hot and I never had a heater system on the car when I bought it. So I don't really know hwat I should use.

PP says they are 12" long.
Do they collapse or do you cut them to size?
bd1308
they collapse very well, but i usually cut them a bit to fit well....they need to be a little collapsed anyway to allow for movement.

i didn't cut mine. they can be very springy and a bit hard to shoehorn in there, but they hold their shape well once installed.
