Found this on the TWM throttle body website....

not only is it for the linkage, it also doubles up as a common manifold for MAP readings for fuel injection....

just a bell crank linkage... WITH GOODIES biggrin.gif
im sure you could make it mike

read something about, how they arent so greeat on a horiz. opposed aircooled motor, because of the expansion of the motor....

thats why most hex bar setups 'self center' themselves with springs on each end
Mueller
i figure the expansion of the motor would play games with it...Jake mentioned figures of .010 to .030 for a superheated motor....

another problem with this setup, the movement of the throttle blades won't be linear!
in fact, it'll be a copped off SIN Curve ...

i'm not sure what that does to your rpm/hp/torque graph ...

it would play games with your head

1" of pedal is 30% throttle, but 1.5" is 80 percent for a crude example

an oblong or cam shaped wheel could be used instead smile.gif

Or increase the diameter of the wheel and locate the two linkage arms at the sides as opposed to the top and bottom as shown so that movement will be at near right angles or tangent to the wheel. The same problem occurs with the typical cross bar linkage and the solution or compromise is the same. idea.gif

Hey Mike (and anyone else interested)...

Have you bought the throttles yet? If so, where from? If not, I found a source of TWM throttles that is WAAAY cheaper than TWM directly. Just ordered a set of 45's this week...

The pony car shops are always the place to look for cheap go-fast parts...

yep....paid $125 for mine, they include the injectors and the TPS smile.gif

of course they won't "bolt" right on without a little bit of work:
