Hi Everyone,

Last night the little, round, red light came on above the gas gauge. The car was then shut-off and then restarted for another errand. While driving the car, I went around a curve and then the light shut-off. Trying to remember the possible causes, I checked the oil level and it was perfect. Then, I was thinking that maybe this could just be an electrical glitch as a few months ago we had the cluster/gauge cover off to paint it... Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance

Emergency brake, oil, or alternator. (G).
No markings on your gauge?

Is it a little red square IN the gas gauge? That would be the reserve light. Going around a turn would explain why it went out.. but it should have come back on again. hmmm.

Don't think it is the emergency brake as I think I know which one that is... checked the oil and I think I am good there... interesting about the alternator.

Go here, find your gauge, tell us which light.

A little round red light. With a G next to it. Correct? That's your alternator light. Key on, light on. Engine start, light off. That's if it all works correctly and your alternator is charging. If the light comes on when you turn a corner, I would look at the alternator harness for a bare wire shorting against something.
