As called out in the title.

Did you a bunch of replacement glass for the mirrors, $9.14 each.
Will be $15 after the GB

Have a few other goodies I'm butting together here too so you could combine.
Just bump the thread if you are interested.
Pics to follow Sunday, but you get the idea.

Are you making both sizes. I need about 6 early and 2 late.

BeatNavy

Mark, Are these flat or convex mirrored glass?
bretth
One for my 75 please.
markhoward
Im in..
Mikey914
These are flat not convex. I made off the 75 I have and it fits the 73.
So where is the cut off? I had not noticed early and late. I'm assuming 72 or earlier?
I'll have to procure a sample to check. If they are smaller I can accommodate fairly easy.
Mark
Jett
I could use 2 small and 2 large

Early is a sharp, right angle for the chrome arm. About a 1/4” smaller glass. Different plastic spacer and trim.
Mikey914
Thanks for volunteering a sample. For the record, do you know the production breaks on these?

Either way I'll have both.
Thx
Mark
Mikey914
Some pictures on these as well as the assembly procedure. Not the plastic "ring" is best bent in from the longer sides to remove.
Mikey914
Glass removed
Mikey914
Glass seated in the base - no retainer "ring" installed.
Mikey914
Retainer installed

-shift bushings GB
-GB for Mirror - Late
-GB for the positive terminal block that will be launching tonight and I'm working on a complete cable option.

The early ones I have a template for them on the way, may take me about 10 days to make up in quantity.

Yes. Original glass (with most of the silver missing) headed your way - usps priority.

Mark...were you making any Convex mirrors?

No not currently. For what application?
Mark

the same door mirrors as this project...thanks
Mikey914
Factory didn't make a convex, at least not that I know of.
Easiest way I can think to make a one off is to find a larger mirror and wetland down.
GregAmy
Bump, interested. I have a '74 and the driver's mirror angles down (isn't horizontal), so I may have the wrong one(s). I'd like two whole complete assemblies for my car, both sides, so I can see what's over my shoulders without turning my head...
