From the fuel filler neck to the expansion tank on a '73. Local NAPA had 1/8 (too small) and 3/16 (seemed a little loose). Since it's not under pressure the 3/16 might not leak but I would order the correct metric size from Pelican if anyone knows what it is. I have researched the limited books I have and didn't find any referances.
Thanks

1/8” is just over 3mm, 3/16” is about 4.5mm, so must be 4mm.

Use a heat gun and a sharp pencil to expand the 1/8 to fit.

Thanks guys, was just trying to avoid walking down to the barn to get the bailing wire. Will try the ATF, might do the trick.

Good call. Generally advised to not use duct tape and bailing wire on the same job.
