I am looking for a set of new or like new Fuchs 16x8 and 16x9 wheels for my 914-6 GT project. Black Centers, Satin or Polished lips.

What is the correct offset when using them with the GT Flares? I know the 944 16x8 have a -23 offest... can anyone offer advise with respect to offsets.

Thanks, Andrew

Those wheels will run $1500-2k for the pair of 8’s and $2-3k for a pair of 9’s. If you actually can find nos, double or triple those prices.

I kinda wanted to know the correct offset....944 or 911, then I can worry about price. Do you know the correct offset for the fronts.. I believe all the rears are the same. Seems like the price you may be referring are for 15". 16" are far less.

Nope. 8x15 are cheap. 6&7x16 are cheap. 9x15 are very pricey and I’m correct about the larger 16’s.

Thanks for the chart... its very helpful.... I have 16x6 all the way around now, all I have to do is compare and measure. Awesome.

If you use 911 offset, the extra width of the 8” 911 offset compared to your 6” wheels is all to the outside. So the 8” 911 wheel adds 2” out.

The 944/951 offset 8” would add 1.5” to the outside, and 0.5” to the inside.

951 8’s sell for about $1200-1500 a pair because they allow a narrow body 911 to use 8’s on the front where 7’s would usually be the max.

To me, the offset while an issue, the wheels need spacers to "be positioned for the look and fit" you want. . That will mean longer studs. It would probably work well with 7s and 8s ...9s may be too much but then again tire size could be help make it work
Have no clue of the correct set but on early GTs I believe factory used either 6 s or 7s and spaced.
My 2 cents

Consider as well tire size/availability that you want to run. 9's like at least a 245-275. 8's a 225-245... finding a brand that meets your needs is getting harder these days..

Thanks. All good info. I think the 951 8" for the front is the ticket. Anyone have a set, anodized lips with all black centers?

A 951-8inch wheel looks just kike a 7 inch 911 wheel. Next you can put a 225 tire on a 7 x 16 and I do not think you need the extra tire in front of a GT look car. Save you money. Get some 15 inch 7 and 8 and get them refinished.

This guy on ebay has a pretty good set of 16 x 7 and 16 x 8 black with polished lip Fuchs. They seem to be pretty much what you're looking for. I stumbled upon it on my search for a set of 14"s for my car .

This ebay ad is just for 16 x 7 with a 951 number. That wheel is the same as any 911 number 16x7 and should not get more that the going price for 7s
