Actually I've used citrus based stuff on plastic, and it worked pretty well.

paint stripper a big no no on plastic. i use tsp in hot water, cleans all the plastic and vinyl nice. tri sodium phosphate or equivilent, real tsp is not available everywhere.

Yeah, but paint?? I mean paint two resprays by PO's and nobody wants to remove the air box... confused24.gif

I have used graffiti remover carefully to remove overspray.

I used brake fluid on mine. I slathered on the brake fluid and covered it with saran wrap. It took almost a week of soaking, but eventually I got it all lifted off without harming the plastic.

Stazak is the best one to give advice on this. Removing paint from plastic though....

instead of chemicals maybe try soda blasting? Ive done it with the cheap "blast from a bucket" devices and household soda. It worked really well, and no chemicals.

i agree with soda blasting. cheap, effective on painted plastic.
