I have owned this car for only a year but purchased it from a friend that had it for 23 years. The car started as a 1.7 but was converted about 10 years ago, the engine came out of a wrecked 914. It has the side shift 5 speed, wheel bearings and fuel injectors/hoses were replaced just before I got it, tires replaced less than a year ago. The only rust I can find on the car is on the left 1/4 up high, may have started from a chip. The hell hole is clean as is the underside. Everything works and no leaks the one time I drove in the rain. It has PIA fog lights installed but I have the originals, new dash trim material in a roll and a spare trans. I am sure I am missing something so please feel free to ask..... sold
