only Larmo will get it............ poke.gif

I am looking for the correct GT battery cut off switch for the front hood cowl / or a perfect knockoff for my daily driver GT project.

The decal would be a bonus find as well.

cheers

Is the switch used to cut the ground connection or the 12v connection ?

I have seen it used both ways

Thanks guys. Much appreciated. The cutoff in my engine compartment is a pain to easily get to so this may be the solution.

Is it wired thru the harness under the cowl or all the way to the battery?

GTs had them mounted between the seats or on the front driver's cowl.Click to view attachment

That is great for driver accessibility. Race cars had them on the out side where a worker could cut power from the outside. For a street car I think inside would be better. Running the ground cable to the inside would be safer.

I just ordered it from Eric + a few other things..... I will put it on the cowl similar to Eric's location on his tribute-car and run the big honkin' wires thru the heater tubes (unused) to the battery and back.

Thanks for the input fellas.
