Seems like the High Desert of So. CA has a number of guys with 914 stashes! While it never rains in Southern CA it snows in the High Desert. I lived there between 88-96 in the Victor Valley

Engine lid welting? I am assuming this is the metal screen covering the air inlet. I do need one if this the right described part. It will have to be shipped.

Engine lid welting is the name I found for the rubber bits that go between the pieces you need and the body.

Thank you again to everyone who's purchased parts from me, Updating this list is pointless at this point. I've shipped a lot of boxes of parts recently and met a bunch of great 914 owners but time is up and what's left is going into storage.

Why would you want to delete this thread? We always complain about guys asking what something is worth; is it not useful to leave things up so we can see what they went for before?

Can't have it both ways.

Because I don't have access to most of these parts anymore and people are writing me asking for things I can't sell.

And I've never complained about people asking what something is worth. So I'm just asking for the way that works for my situation right now, not both ways..
