Where is a good place to buy/order POR-15? Is there any similar product you would recommend over or equal to POR-15?

Get a kit with the metal-prep and the marine-clean too. Those products are as good as the paint.

I wasn't very happy with the Metal Prep. Seems to me that Skyco Ospho was a better/stronger phosporus etcher.

I bought some stuff at Sherwin-Williams called dual-etch. Anyone used it?

I used a brand called "Rust Bullet". Looks and acts just like POR 15. They gave me a pamphlet showing they tested it against 10 brands including POR15 and it resisted rust bleed through the best, FWIW.
