For sale is this original Early Chrome 914 4 Rear bumper. It is not restored and has been stored for 30 years.
I also will have a 2nd rear Bumper just like this once I dismount in a few weeks to put correct 914/6 Bumper on my car.

I believe all "early bumpers" are the same regardless of 4 or 6 ..and some 6s came with late chrome bumpers as well.. Its all about the sharp corner from my understanding..

That's a 71-73 MY rear chrome bumper.

The early 70 /4 & -6 both had the sharp cornered one. I'm not sure exactly whether in late 70 MY, or at the start of the 71 MY, that they changed.

But IIRC it was 70 only, then these for 71-73, 74 w/ rear tits, then 75-76 big bumpers.

Then the tits came in later, then the huge rubber in 75,76

All good info and yes this has the rounded edge and my 3/70 Six needed the sharp edge. I now have the pin hole bumper that was listed on here I will put on in a few weeks.
