Ok I admit I'm being picky. The 914 this steering wheel is to go on is a '74 2 Liter in Bahia Red with a black interior. The bumpers are painted red and there are other red accents thoughout. Black interior with the black and red accents. All in all a pretty site I think.
I want to swap out the steering wheel with one that has a thicker cross section wheel and it's leather wrapped. Black of course. I also am looking at, as a possibility, the Momo Prototipo wheel. Customization needs to include red stitching and a horn button with the Porsche crest. I've seen this option before just don't know how to get it.
Can anybody recommend a source ??

What year car? The adapters for the early wheels are NLA. Look for a used Momo and get it double wrapped.

This is the steering wheel I installed in my car. Don't remember where I purchased the Porsche crest horn button.

Stevens if the steering wheel is still available and for sale, how much would you be asking for it assuming it fits 914? Are the adaptors and hub spacers still available and which ones are they?

I bought this one 5 years ago but checked Amazon and it's still listed. Really like it, you'll need the MoMo adapter and the Porsche Horn Button, both will work on this wheel which is not an expensive Wheel! Check it out.

Note that this wheel's diameter is smaller then stock. Also it's off set moves the wheel a couple inches closer to the driver which actually increases leg room. I know this sounds like it would have the opposite effect but it isn't. The upward angle of the steering column raises the steering wheel and the smaller diameter of the wheel, plus the MoMo adapt all works to lift the Wheel up giving more space between the wheel and the seat.

Another option is to get the wheel of your choice (used to save some money) and send it off to Car-Bone (he's posted on Pelican Parts and has had good reviews on the work) to have it re-covered and stitched as you like:
