Doing the winter valve adjustment after around 2000 miles on a fresh my freshly built motor i noticed these dark stains on the backside of the #3 inlet valve. The inlet valves of cyl 1 and 2 have similar stains but cylinder 4 valve is clean.
What could cause this? and why would it be different between the cylinders?
