I fear I am using up my question vouchers. I'll keep going until I run out.
How to identify a crank . It reads GER 4, then a capital A. There is a tiny window that is in the casting but almost impossible to read even with a magnifying glass.
I am trying to identify and catalog these boxes of parts.
Any tips?

Regards,
mike

Measure diameter of rod journal, that gets you from 1.7/1.8 or 2.0 liter.
Then measure centerline of crank to centerline of rod journal for stroke.

Post a picture of the particular World member, or their screen name, and we'll let you know if they're a crank or not rolleyes.gif
