Did CSP ever make a return spring for there linkage system?

Last weekend I rearranged my linkage so that the bars were parallel to one another and I think in doing so you can now use the CSP return spring

If you see the way the spring is wound and then compare it to where I have my current return spring, then I think it's wound the right direction to work.

I'm at work and need to make sure I find the right spring for my kit. Once I do that I'll report back after I've received it.

Thanks for the reply. Does CSP make a spring?

"CSP bellcrank linkage for Type-1 standard fan shroud"

That doesn't seem correct ;-)

But I think it is. I didn't buy it though, so I can't confirm. I seem to have lots of return force just from the springs on the carbs.

I am not sure but I think it winds the wrong way.

The other one they offer is this:

But you can see it goes with the 'billet' bracket in the 2nd little picture, which is definitely not what I got.

Edit: sorry for the .ca link, I think you change just change it to .com.

That one from CIP is correct. I had the same type of problem, where they sent me the spring that said it was for the stamped steel. Cip sent me the billet one, and it works better, but I still had to add a secondary spring.
