Ended up not using this. . from 914 Rubber.
Listed as later style dash but Mark added a following comment that they fit early glove boxes also.

Would you consider shipping both these (dash and LE spoiler) to me to NorCal? Maybe they would both fit in a bicycle box? Zip 94583 Let me know.
Is this part a one size fits all? Early, late?

Late. That being said I'm fixing to fine out how well a late Dash top fits an early dash.

The glove box door will not fully open with the original late dash on on an early car. I thought 914 Rubber made one to fit all
Take a look on the site. I fitted the dash to to an early. The dash does not interfere with the globebox. You can only tell the diference if you are looking up from below.
Factory made the late dash to superceed the early part, so it works with the early, its just not completely lined up.
