The pins on the rear trunk hinge are heavily worn from the torsion bar (missing rollers) and the bracket (or linkage bar) is also broken. Can this pin on the trunk hinge be fixed? How? Or, should new hinges be sourced?

Thanks

That’s already been repaired by someone who doesn’t have a welder! blink.gif

JWest has a replacement. I bought it years ago in case I ever have a problem. So far so good. I understand it works well. If it’s out f stock at JWest, I’ll sell you mine. PM me.

The heavy walled brass rollers might just fit over, once the shaft is sanded round. It can easily be filled with weld then sanded round again.

Post a WTB. There's lots out there. I must have 5 pairs. But I'm clear across the country. George is asking $125 each. That would probably be the high mark.
