Looking for the storage compartment under the dash for a -6 restoration. I had one a few years before restoring this car but I sold it! Doh!

Anything floating around?

Do a search in the classifieds, I've seen a couple offered up over the passed year

I think it’s the deposit box.

I am assuming they were the same for earliest 4 cylinders?
OR
Did early 4 cylinders not come with them?

I have one in my den closet that has been there for about 15 years. I had no intention of selling it but the more I think about it, I really don't see me needing it. Its not perfect but its certainly better then average condition or I wouldn't have kept it so long. The last one I saw for sale was on ebay and I think they wanted $250 for it. How does $100 + shipping sound?

Note:
I believe this one (post above) is for a 1971 and 1972 914-6 because of it being covered in carpet. 1970 914-6's came with cheaper looking perlon.

I am stupid. My 70-6 has one as well as my 74 V8 car. My 76 has gauges in it

I would also make sure you have the metal bracket brace that holds the center console in place.

Do you need the required bracket? I found one in my stash. $12.00

I searched up and down this forum for these, I did not know someone was making them new. Very interesting! I reached out to him.

Good looking out! Thanks!

These are fairly easy to get made up.
I got mine done in metal and then carpeted it.
