Most likely a 2.0 bus case.

What is your engine case number?

No, Bus block. That is where the oil fill tube was attached.
But, built properly T4 block is a T4 block...

could have gone the other way in a previous life. 914 to Bus. Now it has come back!

I am asking because here are some pictures of a spare engine I have around and there is only the VW logo, no Audi. It's from a 74.
