Full Version: too much light

They used to work just fine. Now, as long as the key is on, the lights are on.

Could this be the switch, perhaps crud around the switch and pin or??

Probably yes on all accounts. First remove one or both of the wires to the switch. The light should turn off. If the light doesn't turn off then the issue is elsewhere.

If the light turns off, then try removing the switch, reconnect the wires and see if the light turns off. If it turns off, then you'll need to inspect everything for proper operation. If the light stays on with the switch removed, then it is the switch.
