I want to make room in the garage for my next project, so I'm selling my 1971 Porsche 914/4. Not a show car, but a very nice driver with a solid body, nice paint, good interior, strong engine, and new rear brakes. Here are some of the important details:

Baja Red with rare 916-style fiberglass front/rear bumpers and rocker panels
Older paint work and restoration, but still presents well
No serious rust issues anywhere (see pics)
1.7 L Engine (stamped EA091928, which indicates was manufactured in '72) with dual Weber IDF 40 2-barrel downdraft carburetors
Engine is clean and leak-free; freshly serviced with new plugs, oil/filer, and valve adjustment
both carbs just cleaned and rebuilt with new gaskets, o-rings, mixture screws, and floats
compression test shows between 145-155 on all 4 cylinders
new battery (Nov 2017)
5-speed manual transmission with new linkage bushings from front to back
Five (inc. spare) chrome-plated 15” 4-bolt wheels with Yokohama 205/60 R15 tires
New/rebuilt rear brake calibers
Very Nice interior
Luisi red and black leather steering wheel
no cracks at all in the dash, which is rare for a car of this age
drivers seat perfect, small tears in passenger seat
the floor pans and doors are lined with Dynomat, which reduces road noise
new Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo w/ Bluetooth audio and hands-free phone
Clean Pennsylvania title, plus receipts dating back to 1982
5-digit odometer shows ~900 miles, so I estimate the chassis currently has about 101k miles on it. Because of the age of the car, the odometer section of the title reads “exempt.”
