When I did the rear end in the suburban it called out for use of a dial ind. to check it. I found one on ebay and got it. it took forever to show up so I gave up and finished the rear gears with out it. They worked out OK just a little noise. Well look what shows up 2 days late. I can use this for other stuff so all is well.

Magnetic base holds it to the dif case. You bing the pointer down onto the ring gear and turn the gear. It will measure the runout and then you shim it out. But I aint pulling it back apart now.

Shoulda asked before you bought that thing. I have one in my toolbox.

Didnt think of that Oh well if the project dont sell I can use it when I put the cams in to dial her in real good
