999 702 054 rubber sleeve

This goes on the back bottom of an early door to hold down the window cranking mechanism. If you don't is there some sort of substitute?

Unfortunately 999 702 054 50 is NLA, unless Mark makes it. You might be able to get rubber grommets that are reasonably close, and cut a square hole in the center with an X-Acto knife.

I saw those on my 72. Im goung to dissasemble to get measurements. I think these are worth doing. More tomorrow.
