Opened the tranny to finally install the LSD. Uh, that doesn't look right.....

Fortunately, I have extra bearings lying around...

and an extra pair of 5th gear...

ahhh those light weight low drag bearings.

Personally I think the quarter was part of the problem. Next time I would leave that part out. Don't think it was standard issue.

I see that you managed to spend some quality time with your car finally. If you leave the tranny all torn apart on the bench, she will beg you to go work on it some more (it may sound like, "you need to clean up that mess", but we hear what we hear.)

I will be picking up the sound paint tomarrow hopefully.....

Actually, she is really good at giving me a swift kick in the butt to get me moving on my car. She wants me to have it running for the MUSR!

Unfortunately, the tranny gets to sit next to the car for 2 weeks now...Mexico city this coming weekend. And I still need to pull the carbs to reseal the accellerator pump diaphragms. And occasionally, mow the lawn. OH, and locate the oil leak on top of the engine....
