I am wondering what years will work/fit inside the Getty dash. Should I look for any peticular model?

I figure you'd want to stick with gauges "contemporary" to your 914, i.e. 69-73 911 stuff. Basically anything pre-SC or maybe even into the 80's is probably gonna work; I forget when they changed to electric speedos but that could be an issue (you could always keep your 914 speedo but it might not match, cosmetically). The thing is that the newer the gauges, the more idiot lights they will have, which you won't have any sensors or senders to connect to. Ever notice how many idiot lights a 964 or 993 gauge has? Plus the earlier silver-centered dials look better IMHO.
