Brad, you noticed that my car lacks a plastic part at the after end of the seal where the window goes done into the door. Is this it?
Qarl
I would say yes.

They changed them from the early cars to later, but I think the later ones fit on the early cars.

they're dependent upon the window i believe. 72' and down is one style. there is a distinct dif between the two. check your window mechanism. the latter ones are quite inexpensive. why bother with old/used crap from ebay? do the window squeegee at the same time. eliminate those crappy gaps at the wing post and the back.

I bought a late model set from the guy offering these on eBay (Part Werks). Brand new in the factory bags for $6.95 each. I think the early ones go for around $25, and I'm pretty sure you need to use the correct ones.
rhodyguy
i think that's about what i paid from pp. your vendor, your choise. if you want to fix something NOW, why would you want to wait 7 days to find out if you've won +shipping time to maybe save a couple of bucks?

Item number 9 is what you need. Make sure you get them for YOUR doors. I'm not sure what year doors you have..

Jeff, your car has "late" doors from a '73 or later 4. Sounds like you need the less expensive end pieces. Your doors have side impact door beams. Late doors also have a different window mechanism from early cars (stock 6's).

I think I did make the comment in the parking lot..that the windows rolled up nice. Early cars rarely have windows that role up "nice".

Nice car Jim (that you sold him) Good power and runs good.

Ha ha haaaaaaa!!!!!!!

I almost missed it!

Brad, once I get started on the "stray" I brought home from your country, I will probably wish I had kept it!
Brad Roberts
I think the car had been hit in the front at least once and hit in the rear at least once.

I think it was a great car for the price and 90% complete.

The one you bought will cost some bank to restore... but I think overall its a solid wreck free chassis.

It really doesnt matter as long as your having fun and enjoying the time spent on the cars.
