The Dansk ones are basically the same design as the original factory ones. Ben’s are beautifully made and the stainless should last basically forever. The only other ones i’m Aware of are those manufactured by Billy Boat, but those are known to not actually fit or heat that well.
For the price, I’d seriously look at Ben’s unless you need concours correct for your car.

What size engine? The Stoddard / factory ones are designed for a small motor 2.0-2.4. Anything over that I would l look at Bens 1 5/8” heat exchangers.

Ben has also done a smaller size for stock engines.

Anyone have any experience with Stoddards or NLA heat exchangers for the 914-6? I assume they are reproductions...
WOW huge price difference, apparently the Stoddard ones fit ok ,appears they didn't a while back, seems NLA have the edge...but do they fit properly or are they similar to what issues Stoddard had ??,not a cheap order to freight back for a refund after all. Good luck to the OP.

The late great Bruce Anderson dyno tested stock systems and commented they were still good for up to 3.0L,just saying ...I have 3L custom headers (similar to MSDS) on my 2.2t with upgraded carbs ,runs great, but I don't really know the theory behind it.
