Just got my US Citizenship last week and can now take part in the 914World Elections.

Therefore, I respectfully 3rd the nomination of Sir Oscar Valco for the GT Tribute Car, Best Trailer, President, Nobel Prize and Humanitarian of the Year Award....for real!

Wow, digging Dave T's car. Love the color, wheels, and lights. Just feels fresh.

So how about a little narrow-body love? Hereby nominating Tim Pappas' 914 hot rod, as built by Kevin Jeanette for Southern California canyon carving, replete with "Hobie" cloth interior.

And did someone mention hood lights? How about Jeff Zwart's ex-Larrousse 914-6 GT?

As much as i love that car, is Jeff actually a member here?

You never know who is lurking (well, YOU probably do), but that may preclude his and Tim's cars from entering...ah well.

I'll nominate this car. It's a '74 2L completely rebuilt narrow body car. It was a rust free barn find in Oct of 2015. Sat for over 23 years and was used as a parts car. All systems refreshed. Owned by Jim and Peggy Pilny of Port Clinton Ohio. Of course it ours.

I would like to second the second, third, fourth and fifth on Oscar's car. Super clean car and a hella nice guy. I would say his car would be a no-contest winner but....he doesn't have LED head lights. At Route 66 he was showing pics of him with various 914's in the 80's. They were dope.....

Jeff had posted on Club, I had posted a bunch of pictures of his car at historic races at Laguna. Before Team NARP had a logo on the trailer.

Im going to need another nomination. Jeff is decidedly not on the forum and therefore not eligible for nomination. If someone can prove me wrong before someone else gets nominated and seconded then perfect. Until then I need another seconded nomination so we can move on to voting.

Ok, I nominate McMark’s 1.7 Turbo. You might laugh at this multicolored ‘rat-rod’ but it has been the testbed for so many of the amazing innovations. Needle bearing suspension bushings, Megasquirt 1.7 turbo motor that has lasted years now being regularly beaten on. Invisible Bluetooth sound system that is killer.
