I'd like to remove the center rear reflector on my 1975 914 and would like to know what's involved. I see there are some holes that I will have to weld/plug? Also, do i need a truck lock or can I keep the servo button thing?

Unbolt it. Toss it. Repair the holes. Use a 914 trunk lock. Much more reliable.

If your taking it back to original, do the original manual button, they're available in nice shape to rebuildable on here, & IIRC 914Rubber has the parts &/or kit to rebuild them for the latter.
