I'm looking for the best way to power the fuel pump in my project car.
The car is a '75 chassis but the harness is from a 1970 '6'
I'd rather not run a separate circuit from the original rear plug through the car.
Best power source / best proper circuit ?
TIA

I added another relay and switch on the dash to power the front pump. You could power the switch from any switched 12volt source and take power off the fuse box (obviously fused as well). Then you can turn the pump off if desired to lower the float bowl fuel level before parking to minimize fuel percolation. I’m assuming you have carbs, but could still power off the front fuse box (without the switch) for a CIS car.

It is a carbureted car
