Ok, I'm going to build my 1.7 to a 2.0 with 44 Weber carbs. Jay Vigilante is going to do the work on engine. He was one of the first techs for 914 in USA. Got new everything for engine to run the 44's. He asked me if I'm going to keep the heater blower in the engine compartment. I do live in Northern AZ,, and rarely use my heater. So I'm thinking of headers for the build thus deleting heat in the teener. Anyone else do this. Don't drive the tener in rain, and rarely in winter also. Just wondering guys.

Plenty of people run headers on their 914 /4's

If I could only get 100LL, my 2.1 would be happier
