If the tool wasn’t secured I think it chaffed the edge of the envelope; the material is light enough to wear through.
Showed the envelop to the postmaster as soon as I opened the PO Box, so she’s on record as to the claim

Got mine today, seems like it’s a very tight fit ?
If anyone near me in So Cal needs to borrow, it’s gonna be available

Two Thumbs Up for a TOP Quality Tool!

Makes changing rollers and reinstalling rear lid torsion bars easy and safe.

A quality tool in my tool box used many times.

Thanks Mark for making these!

UPDATE 2/26/19: More available and ready to ship if anyone missed the first run.

Well that took a lot longer than I expected... but the High Strength Torsion Tools are finally complete. I tested them on a car in the shop and there's NO WAY these are going to bend, and the 'comfort handle' makes it super comfortable to use.

They're $35 each + $5 shipping in the ConUS.

You can PayPal HERE. Make SURE there is a valid shipping address on your payment, please... smiley_notworthy.gif

Checks can go to the shop, the address is HERE.

Paypal sent. Thanks

I think 914rubber.com is now listing them. I ran across this while looking for parts recently. Looks like the same tool I received from McMark.

While I love to support 914Rubber, thought I'd try this first:

Is there anyone near the DC Metro area who has this tool for the trunk torsion rod? Would pay a few bucks (or beers) to borrow it. Or perhaps pay local shipping, although it's heavy to ship.

Thanks!

Edit: If @McMark is still shipping them, that could work too.
