removed all the screws on the underside of my hp ze5300 and only one corner kinda pops loose. rest is as tight as with the screws in. any suggestions? i don't want to pay anyone as it should be quick and easy once i gain access.

thanks in advance.

Scott,

Different laptop but my compaq had some snaps/clips besides the screws. Also is there a bottom access panel for memory or batteries. Could be some screws in there too.

on our ZD7000 there was a separate hard drive compartment with its own set of captive screws.

with a bit of work, i was able to find the complete factory repair manuals for all the HP computers in PDF form on the web. they're quite comprehensive, and i'd start by looking for the proper repair manual, if it were me ...
