Kelly demands an eco friendly ride.

I am looking to find a clean original Mercedes Benz Diesel to convert to an SVO dual fuel cruiser.

Anyone got an Eco fuel Diesel running around here?
I'd love to hear some feedback.

I would love to find an early 80's 300C Diesel coupe.

Does your exhaust smell like hot french fries?

My '75 240D will run on veggie with out mods. On El Cajon blvd, Pearson Ford sells bio diesel. There was a 77 240D with only 40k miles on its rebuilt for $1k when I bought mine. It was north county.

Straight vegetable oil or biodiesel? I thought straight vegetable oil required some mods to work, like a fuel line preheater.

Bio diesel. I believe that you do need some mods for straight veggie.

I've been thinking about homebrewing some. Apparently it isn't too hard. Just need some oil, sulfuric acid, methanol, lye and water. Recipes here.
