Well, I have given up on repairing the center console clock, after having it stop working multiple times, and randomly decide to speed up or slow down on its own. It says "VDO kienzle" on the inside of the face. I like to keep the interior as stock as possible, but am curious about options for a stock looking clock to replace the hole in my center console.

There is always the 2 1/16" Pelican one for $140

However, I found this one at Chirco of the same diameter which looks damn near identical to me for $62

Anybody have any other sources or ideas on how to get a stock appearing clock that actually tells time without having to spend a whole bunch of money?

Thanks in advance, Steve

if you need to stick to stock, then pony up the $ for your look.

on the other hand, you could replace the clock with an oil pressure gauge or a cylinder head temp gauge.... consider those gauges necessary for engine monitoring and basically, you really don't "need" a clock.

when i drive my 914, i carry at least 2 things: AAA card and cell phone...... which has a clock on it laugh.gif

you can get one that is close to stock for about$30 from CBperformance too...
