I have Fuchs 16 x 7 alloys in the front of my 914-6 with a 44mm offset. I have the factory GT flares installed and I am wondering if I need a spacer to get the tire where it needs to be.

Thanks,
Bob

the factory ran a 1" spacer on all 4 corners on the GT race cars that were equipped with the 7" wheels in the front and the 8" wheels in the rear.

adding a 1" spacer will fill out the fenders nicely with those wheels ...

you'll need longer studs tho, the 1" bolt on spacers don't work well with those wheels, the nuts used to hold them down stick out about 1/8 and interfere with the back of the wheels.

i recommend going with longer studs, slide on spacers and open lug nuts ...
