So I opened the passenger door to put my son in his car seat.
Looked down and seen this. 1st I was horrified but after some picking and poking I think I will live. Still need to fix itand give it some reinforcement.

Got and Engman kit on the way but it was intended for the stripper.

I also see some one has been in here before in the jack point area of the longs.

here's a few pics

Not bondo. looked like P.O. used some of that epoxy metal putty. Pretty tough to chip out. I know what did it. Them damn Hoosiers were sticking so good it made the whole car flex like a soft pretzel.
Going to pull off that scabbed on plate the P. O. put on and also delete the jack point hole.
Can't imagine anyone REALLY using one of these to lift a car.

drill out those rivets and remove the door sill plate too, Joe. Sounds like you have it figured out.
Joe Ricard
Yea, race cars don't need no frigging sill plates.
All figured out except the welding skills suck. Hey Rob when's the next road trip?

Good thing this is the practice car.

Looks like "all Metal" An aluminum filled epoxy type filler. Or Lead...
Joe Ricard
Yup prolly all metal.

Got a guy that wants to buy it from me. Talk about timing.
