When you say "New", does this mean another run of them or are they redesigned? Is there an improvement on these over previous ones?

Yes, the process was moved from catalyzed rubber about 6 months ago and at that time we sent all that had purchased for the previous 6 months free new ones. This is more a launch of the upper brackets but decided to combine to allow for significant savings.

The upper holders are the real new product for us.

On my 76 the white plastic clips (one of which has been broken for years) are fastened in the rear trunk with what appear to be large rivets. It seems these will have to be drilled out. Is anyone familiar with these? Are nuts and bolts a reasonable substitute?

The 914 PET shows these clips to be fastened with M6 x 12 hex head bolts, perhaps on early models. Are there captive nuts in place for these?

Remember when you couldn't buy these, now they are so cheap you almost can't afford not to buy them.

I've needed one of the rear clips since the late 70's
and just ordered all 4 just to get the one I needed.
At this price, why not......????

Are the front edge white plastic holders installed with rivets or bolts? My '75 has rivets and think they are original to the car, but have also seen earlier vehicles with nuts and bolts. Were those replacement installs?
