SOLD to Bill (Bill1963) committed to purchase on 6/18/18 ... payment received on 7/5/18

1975, with nice back-dated chrome bumpers with decent rubber tops.
Nice Hella Euro front & rear turn signal lenses
Pilot driving lights behind non fog light grilles
Older black repaint over the original black L041. Smooth black targa top. Has some minor blemishes, but it will shine up nicely if/when polished shades.gif
New front trunk lid (no, rust, dents or dings)
New 914 Rubber front trunk seal (not glued in)

Longs are in great shape. Hell hole and battery box were repaired/replaced by Milt Becker (Zeke) several years ago
Fiberglass rocker panels.
No rust in either trunk, but front trunk floor was cut out for an AC condenser (AC condenser included). There is a carbon-kevlar plate screwed in to cover the opening at present
Tan leather seats upgraded with 914 Rubber seat adjuster handles, center console with gauges (clock doesn't work), leather shifter boot and a tan dash cover
Center armrest with custom-made cup holder, and fairly new Appbiz tan carpet (, front trunk bulkhead and floor panel pieces, rear trunk carpet and targa-top headliner)
Tan door panels with old speakers (shown in pix) were replaced with nice uncut black door panels
Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo with nice stock speaker pods
'86 Corvette spoiler (was already on the can when I purchased it back in 2006)
'86 Corvette 3rd brake light on engine deck lid

-----------------------------------------

2056 motor with less than 5k miles
Keith Black 96mm pistons
Machined 2.0L Mahle cylinders
Reconditioned heads with new guides and stainless exhaust valves
Raby 2980 cam (a little snottier than the standard 2056 profile)
Chromoly push rods - (zero-lash adjustment)
911 swivel foot adjusters
9.5:1 CR - (run premium fuel)
Dual Italian Weber 40IDF carbs w/CB Performance velocity stacks
CB Performance air filter housings with K&N filters
CSP bell crank throttle linkage
Carter fuel pump/filter with less than 5k miles
Stainless steel fuel lines (both, feed & return lines)
Pertronix trigger & Bosch blue coil
BOSCH VJR-4-BR8 distributor (custom curved by Glenn Ring)
SSI 2.0L heat exchangers
Fairly new 2.0L Banana muffler (Triad muffler shown in pic is gone)
THOMAS rebuilt side shift trans with less than 5k miles
CFR spherical firewall bearing, bronze front shift coupler bushings and bronze rear console shift bushing
Dual o-ring speedo drive
Bruce Stone pedal assembly
EMPI breather kit
Brad Penn break-in oil utilized on start-up, Brad Penn 20/50W utilized ever since

---------------------------------------------

Kumho 195/65-15 tires (with lots of life left in them) Less than 2.5k miles
ATS Classic wheels (need cleaned up to look great)
Fairly new ATE master cylinder with brand new grommets
PMB front & rear calipers with less than 5k miles
Shocks and springs are still good (unk make & unk mileage)

--------------------------------------------

THE 'BAD', if you want to call it that ...

I installed a Wilwood hydraulic clutch system because there is a problem with the clutch cable tube, but haven't had the opportunity to try it out with all the other priorities on my plate.

The car has not been started since mid-2016, so the fuel tank will need drained and the carbs will probably need a good cleaning. A set of rebuild kits are included.

Will probably also need a new battery.

------------------------------------------------------

Pretty good condition for a 43 year old car. Priced for a quick sale ... $10,000.

I'm prepping for a remodel on a couple more rooms at the CA house to start on Thursday. My wife & I spent all day cleaning everything out the rooms (glad I brought my trailer back with me). I need to do the electrical upgrades before the contractor to steps in to do the carpentry, insulation and drywall work, so I'll be kind of busy again tomorrow dry.gif

I'll try to run down to the Interstate dealer and get a new battery for the 'BB', put some fresh fuel in the tank and start her up sometime this weekend ... maybe shoot some video? confused24.gif

If I have to do a lot of work on her, the price will have to go up poke.gif

billh1963
I'll take the car as is...all you have to do is say ok biggrin.gif

driving.gif excellent- I was going to say maybe I would borrow it if I don't have mine back together by then, since you have a couple other candidates to have ready as well. --- nice looking car , - if I were looking for a second 914 it would be at the top of the list!

Well, looks like Bill is the 'BB's new caretaker first.gif

I'll get her ready for transport shortly ...

Gonna miss her, but the reality is that at my age, I need to focus my attention on a few other projects if I ever want to see them through to fruition.

Congrats! I guess you need to fill up that new garage(s).
euro911
While looking for an errant piece of the carpet kit (the driver's side kick panel), I found some more carpet pieces to go with the car. In addition to the front trunk tan carpet kit, I totally forgot that I had also purchased a tan rear trunk carpet and matching tan headliner for the targa top biggrin.gif

Still looking for the kick panel piece - where the F did I put it headbang.gif

Also, including the flexible sheath and pulley assembly for the original clutch cable in case Bill wants to convert back from the hydraulic system confused24.gif
billh1963
I'm going to try out the hydraulic system. This car has some great upgrades from stock and is an excellent platform to try new technologies on. I may have to experiment with A/C as well!
euro911
Well then, I'll toss box with the condenser/fan unit in the trunk ... it's the only component I still have from the old A/C system.
Blue6
Mark, Mark, Mark. Your going to miss her. sad.gif
euro911
Yeah, I know ... but just like breaking up with old girlfriends, I'll survive.

We still have the '71, and although it won't be as much of a hot rod as the 'BB', it'll be another great car when it's all back together.

Well, we've got an empty nest here now. Danny from the transport carrier came by a half-hour ago and the 'BB' is on the way to SC as we speak driving.gif

A bittersweet moment for sure, watching it being driven away dry.gif smile.gif

But on the bright side, now I can go pick up 'Eileen' (Westfalia) with her new 2.1L Wasserboxer motor biggrin.gif ... I'll temporarily park her up on the lift and have AAA transport my wife's '99 Beetle here (park it on the lower rung), so's I can work on the overheating issue before taking it to AZ to live out the rest of it's life.

Now I have a car to take to Okteenerfest!

I'll be sure to post pictures of BB's arrival. smile.gif

Bill, enjoy the hell out of that car. The BB will always be the BB. Nice to keep names so we all know what car it is.
