Full Version: Another one bites the dust.....truly sad....
I know this is part of the car hobby, and is sometimes a necessary evil to keep others alive. I can’t help but feel bad knowing this one will never see the road again. I wish I had the skills and funds to save them all. I love these cars, all of them. A lot of us on this site and other sites; cars, trucks, motorbikes, etc, they speak to us, they speak to our souls.....change our mindsets and even are moods just seeing them, much less driving them. RIP friend....
Cut out the good metal or give it to someone who can. A transplant donor car.
I hear you. I just bought another 914 and a 70’s motorcycle. Running out of room.

OEM Parts Are, hard to come by.
When I cut up an 914 due to rust< Believe me, Rust!
But will ,n have saved most of OEM Materials.
It's Genuine Porsche parts.,

Some must die so others may live, we honor the fallen with our wall of dead cars...
At least save the dash frame. Plenty of those have been cut into for gauges, or like one of my SPO, to slide the stereo over 
Looks like it may have a good center console also. How about the pedal box? Front fenders? Cowl? Targa pieces? Looks like it's a great source of contributing to the life of others! 
All sound advice, thanks, I will try to see what I can save. But running out of space fast!
Still plenty to pick off that before ot goes in the trash!!!

Is the ratchet strap keeping the back end from dragging on the ground?

Is the ratchet strap keeping the back end from dragging on the ground?
No, but it is a weak car, both longs are in sad shape. Even with 30 lbs of fiberglass the previous owner thought would be good enough to hold it together. I learned the ratchet strap thing from a guy that had one bend in half while on his lift. I try to be safe while working on cars., especially when they are extra crusty.
The upper firewall cut out would be great for my -6 conversion.
