Just would like to confirm...

There are three individual wires under the console. One connects to the small light and the brown with the eye connection connects to the screw holding the light onto the cover of the console. I assume the small defrost light comes on when you turn the main lights on?

The second wire connects to the red lever. When the lever is pulled back it turns on the heater motor?

Not sure about the wiring of the defroster light.. except to say brown is ground.

The red lever does two things; opens the flapper valves to let warm air into the heat tubes and at the full open position, makes contact to power on the heater blower in the engine compartment.
