hmm, nice. By "true RS finish", do you mean media blasted petals and rim, or anodized? Curious,

Sure, no problem. Rick at Fuchs Restoration. They are close to me in Costa Mesa. I paid him $1,464 to do the wheels plus $100 for the caps and $72. To remove the Chrome that was on the 8s. All Anodized finish. No paint. I take it that this is the same as Harvey’s finish.
Time was 8 weeks. He did my polished 15s 7 and 8s in 3 weeks. I have used Al Read a number of times over the years and he took a very long time. All in all, Fuchs Restoration Services was very good. To pack you wheels to ship back to you is $140 more plus the cost of UPS or FedEx
His prices are on the web site.

Look at his site. The invoice called out for RS finish. Going over it with Rick he said the wheels have a combination of polished and bead blasted areas that where anodized.
All confusing to me but the web site shows lots of examples of finishes.

Rob,
your wheels have a heavier gray look to them than these.

Holy Mother of Pearl, those are lovely!
Much as I like the RSR finish, the RS finish is a bit more.... sophisticated, maybe?
Either way, you have to be one happy man. Thanks for sharing.

Those look great.. I definitely would go that route for your build.. I chose the cheap way out on mine only because I am not convinced I will stay with 15" wheels. Good reference and might look into it for a future set.

He could get t busy now and take much longer.
I think he says 12 weeks for RSR or RS finish. I was lucky to get my wheels faster.

RS Finish is basically a stock Fuchs finish with a slightly higher polish on the lip face.
Just to be clear, this is not to be confused with the frosted RSR finish.
Looking good Bob
