Was looking to replace on of the front control arm bolts with an eye bolt to make a easy tie down point.

PET says M 10 x 30 but no pitch. All I can find is M10 x 1.5. I think it is a fine thread at 1.25. Anyone confirm the pitch and have a source for the eye bolt?

agree.gif I recently redid my front suspension and bought new hardware. My BelMetric receipt says M10x1.5x30. Pretty sure that's what's there.

1.5 pitch is standard in the metric size ,1.25 is generally used for high tension torque fastenings and normally HT bolts 10.00 plus.

In the metric thread system it's always standard pitch if pitch it's not mentioned. For M10 pitch is 1.5mm.

If your car's low, it's gonna scrape a lot. But, yeah 10x1.5x30

Thanks all. I will pull out the bolt again and check but the 1.5 eye bolts I have absolutely will not thread into the hole. Will use a thread checker to verify tonight.
